Well, it looks like my refurbed D1 is boned. I let it sit a couple of days completely drained. I plugged it in this morning and it won't boot up now. If I plug it in, I get the Motorola logo for about 5 seconds, and then the phone reboots perpetually in the same spot.

I tried accessing the bootloader screen and I get alternating messages. One says "low battery" -- which I knew about already -- and the other says "cannot program".

Unless someone has another idea, it looks like I'll be going to talk with VZW today. Anybody know what they're doing for replacements in store now? Are there any D1s left?
