This is a demonstration of some really cool new technology...It's like everything Google and Android attempts to do for us......just without an actual phone.

This is a video that's about 13 mins long....but bear with me and stick it out to the end. This guy is pretty clever, though his accent is a little hard....you should have no difficulty understanding.

The technology is still in its infancy, but looks awesome!

WOW, that is freakin amazing....even as basic as the visuals are at this point, that made the iPad look even more pathetic!

Seriously cool... it's an actual demonstration of technology hypothesized in movies, especially SciFi. Love it.

yeah!!! I love the early concepts!!! Where he tore apart two mice and strapped onto a ruler!!

And then he strapped that projector and camera to his bike helmet!

Oh my God!!! That's awesome. isn't there a phone that has a built in projector already? It seems like this tech is not too far away for the real world.

Saw vids on this a couple years ago when this guy was a student (I think it was the same guy). The potential of this tech is amazing. Add in GPS and you open up all kinds of crazy possibilities.

he said in his pres that the hardware only costs about $300 and that he would be releasing all the software (Open Source!) in a couple of months. Not sure when that was filmed, but it sounds like its out there to be had if you want it NOW.

ugh...if i still had the spare time of a single man I would be all over this.

The demo video is super cool, but there were a ton of simulated shots.
