I just thought I'd share that there is a 2.1 ROM from Lox that is suitable for everyday use.

    [Rom] KaguDroid 1.2.1 (31-01-2010) - HTCPedia.com forums

I have found it to be very fast unlike many of it's predecessors, there is still trouble with the camera and a few other minor glitches but nothing I can't live with.

I wouldn't say that it was suitable for everyday use then.

The ROM or the phone's camera?

The ROM. If it's glitchy I wouldnt consider it suitable for everyday use.

No case, I got sick of having an ugly plasticy case ruining the phones look. I find that the phone doesn't really need a case unless your prone to dropping. I'm careful with mine and use a wrist strap lanyard around one of my fingers when I'm using the phone.
