    Hi,
Just attempting to get some help with my dead android 2.1. I let it set for a few weeks. After charging it I can only get it to go to the screen that says android_. My daughter's is doing the same think. Have reset several times with no improvement. Please help me revive.... Thanks!!:)

Strange. Did you do a battery pull? Welcome to Android Forums!

    Welcome to the Android Forums!

The ePad is one of many knockoff tablets currently on the market. Typically it's not unusual to hear of issues with them. They are rather quirky devices...

Thanks... that is what I was afraid of. Have looked for a solution but have yet to find one. Ironically the e-bay seller we purchased them form no longer has a sell site, and will not respond to e-mail. Was wondering if there is a possible program to download for repair. Not to much information out there..... : ( Also looking for suggestions for portable devise that streams. Still hoping for a fix for the Android 2.1 android... Thanks... : )

In cases like this the best thing to do is to try flashing a new image onto the tablet. The challenge is that this is a manual process and not always straightforward.

    [ROM] EPAD and APAD Generic v1.6, Build 1.8.2 & 1.9_88 Non-Rooted

Before attempting this please make abolustely sure that this is the proper tablet and the proper image. Many of these tablets use similar sounding names. IF you attempt to flash with the wrong image your tablet may need some serious medical attention...
