Should I just call Droid Mod a dead horse and stop beating it??? They have missed one major google released update and another around the corner. By now they are so far behind we will have un root DM to get all the goodies I think. I go to the site and mostly pointless blog posts and excuses why nothing new in months and months. Are they too far behind at this point and should I unroot and just get Android 2.1 OTA and the 2.2 when its out??? IS DM dead besides some blog posts?
Root Android 2.2 almost here and STILL no DM update??

I let them lead me on for months, i was faithful but enough was enough, im enjoying flashing new roms and trying new things, Dm is a thing of the past for me, not worth the drama.

Rom Manager would be easiest.
It's entirely possible that the new version of DroidMOD if and when it comes out could be amazing, but as of now they have fallen by the wayside which is sad because I think Sholes/DM is where most of us started in our rooting.What is Droid Mod? Hehe
Bugless Beast or Cyanogen are far superior to DM. You could wait for DM to update or you could start enjoying your phone again!

Yeah...when the only options were Sholes and Bugless Beast, Sholes was a pretty good choice
. Problem is that Pete (developer for BB) has been working on new ROMs and has never stopped. I'm sure he has amassed more knowledge from continually improving and releasing more ROMs which is why BB1.0 is so damn good! Could DM produce a ROM that is better than everything else out there? Sure, but I am skeptical. If they do come out with a big upgrade that blows everything else away I will be shocked!...and then after another long period of nothing...most people will be back to the devs that actually update their ROMs.
Not to mention the fact that people from DM actually demonized people like Pete for using the leaked ESE53 to create ROMs (before we had the official ESE81 release). As if they were doing something immoral by producing a better ROM with the latest release they could get their hands on...what a joke!
No, when they bitched about the ESE53 ROMs is when I decided to stop even checking on their ROM status, that was bull IMO.
