Okay my LG Optimus S has 2.2.2 on it still and my phone was deactivated when the update came out for the phone via Sprint users.

Is there anyway i can get 2.3.3 on my phone?

It is rooted but I dont want to add the custom rom i did do that last night and everything worked fine until i rebooted and and had to restore it via NAND restore.

Any help is appreciated ! Cheers !:)

I forget how my S got messed up, but I did the nearly impossible sytem reset, think it was power, home, volume down. Anyway, it came up with a fresh 2.3.3, and after reinstalling lookout, my contacts came back. The phone never worked better than it does now. By keeping my Available Space above 65 MB, memory handling is much, much improved. I think 2.3.3 likes starting from scratch.
