I just got the LG Revolution.
I'm unable to connect to the Microsoft Office Exchange Server 2003 SP2.
does anyone know what resources Android is looking for or trying to use?

    firewall port?
    certificates?

The IT company we use has looked at the Exchange Server setup and our firewall, but still can't get a connection.

OMA is turned on, SP2 is loaded, etc., etc.

The exchange web portal was apparently not setup to use the firewall port for SSL, and I think maybe our firewall is blocking the traffic.

    this should have been easy!

do you have OWA set up on your exchange server? i hooked up my Desire Z to the email at work this week, it's running Android 2.3 and had no issues synching contacts calendars and emails, no browsing of the GAL but start typing an email contacts name and it comes up with the details. in fact it even synched with the AD and provided mobile numbers and anything else stored against the usernames. no mesing around with ports etc on the phone was needed. i set up the account in the HTC stock email app
