Android app glitch?

I've had my Lg Ally for about 8 months now with no problem at all. About a month ago my phone started to act up. I would tap on a app and it would launch another app. I rebooted my phone and still had the problem. I don't know whats going on. Has this happened to anyone else. Thanks.

Might try a factory reset...I'm not familiar with the Ally. But full reset never hurts.

Is it always the same app or is it random?

I can only think of two reasons for shortcuts for one app launching another ... either the launcher config is corrupt, but just enough to screw up the list and not crash, or the digitizer is crapping out on you.

If, after a full factory reset it continues to misbehave, then i am afraid it's hardware and needs to be repaired or replaced.
