Hi all, is there any ereader/book app that is great for android that is free to download. Id like something to read in my free time and having an app to streamline books/classics would be great, thanks!

Why not download Kindle for Android from the Market.
Obviously you'll need an Amazon account to set up but should you ever buy a "Real" Kindle in the future then all your free and purchased books will be sync to both your phone and Kindle device.

I'm reading books on my desire whilst I'm waiting for my Kindle to arrive.

i've got Amazon Kindle and it is really good. Never thought I would use an electronic device to read from but Kindle has seen me change my mind on this.

Aldiko for me too. Easy to navigate, easy to use and very easy to read. Tons of books at Bolt.org, plus loads of other stuff ;-)

Hi there! I've been using FBReader in conjunction with downloads from Project Gutenberg. It's a really basic reader, but I can't see how you can improve on words on a screen!!

Kobo is good too. Has many "classics" available for free through the app.
