android box problems

just bought an android box (see below). if i had realised it was from china i wouldnt of bought it by the way.

New QUAD CORE Android Smart TV Box XBMC Fully Loaded Network Streamer Jailbroken | eBay

anyway, installed it today and i've had nothing but problems trying to get it to work.

when in xmbc i get the following error messages. all of add on download but dont install, problems with plugin

dvbviewer client
tvheadend htsp client
argus tv client
vdr vnsi client
media portal pvr client
vu+ enigma2 client

all these come with connection error messages

can anybody help please? ive mailed the guy on ebay but its china so takes forever to reply. i have asked for refund if cant be fixed

You may want to delete and do a fresh install of xbmc gotham. If the box is working, it is not the box. Are you familiar with xbmc. With the new gotham out, many of the standard add ons are not compatible yet. Are you trying to install some of non official xbmc addons like superrepo, mashup, etc

not trying to install anything. things like ice movies are not working, when i open them says i need a 2mb download. i do this and then says failed plug in script.
nothing on the live tv section. and then all the error messages i posted above

Thats rockchip rk3188 (quad core) cs918 box. There is few custom firmwares for these boxes, just google it, check here or on freaktab forum. Try different firmware and see if it works ok.
