    Hi,
    I've set some pictures to be available offline, but I'm running out of hard drive space, so now I need to make them not available offline. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks!

    1. Download the Forums for Android™ app!

    If you have a google plus account just make it auto backup all pictures to your account then you can delete them off your device since they will be on the cloud.

    Hi, I did delete the pics from my phone, but the Image app keeps downloading them. How do I stop it from keeping the pics for offline use?

    You mean downloading them back onto your device?

    Yes, how do I stop the picks from downloading onto my device? I set them for offline viewing, but not I want to turn that off.

    Are they true images or thumbnails? Some apps keep thumbnails as a link to the real images. I've known Picasa to do this. The thumbnails are under Images, not DCIM.

    I do not use Picasa, and deleted every photo I had there (prefer Flickr), I had 3 images on the phone I could not delete out of Gallery, yet if I clicked on them to enlarge them, the pics were "not available." Finally figured out they were thumbnails installed when I tried Picasa rather than images and stored on the phone as links. Thumbnails are very small, someone else here could probably give you the general size on Android.

    Go into the Google Account section of the Settings in your phone and make sure that there isn't a tick next to the "Sync Picasa Web Albums" option.

    @SkyJackpot,

    Thanks for that tip. Is there a way to stop syncing specific folders? I selected to download all my image folders for offline use, but now I want to uncheck a few, not all.

    Yes, I have confirmed that the images have downloaded for offline use.

    Thanks!
