I have gone into app management and moved all apps to sdcard that allow me to. But i still have an android with full internal memory and an 8gm sdcard thats mostly empty im getting memory low alerts when trying to install any new apps.

How do i get around this and why does the move app to sd card not move the entire app over?

Some apps simply won't run off the sd card. I do believe that a root will help you with some (but not all) of the stubborn apps. Don't quote me on this though. SOmeone else will probably chime in soon enough.

    Correct you are.

If you're a root user, there's an app blatantly called, Move2SD Enabler. It, literally, enables you to move a lot of apps over to the SD card that you wouldn't have been able to normally. You need to be rooted to use it though.

Thanks, Move2SD Enabler seems to be working with my Optimus M and allowed me to move a few more apps over to my SD card.

But why does it look like its leaves some of the app on the phone? Exmple: i have an app thats 3.5MB, after moving to SD card it shows up on the phone as 1.5MB.

    what gives?

From what I believe, you cannot put an entire app on sd, you can just put part of it. For example if an app is usually 2.8 MB, after i move to sd it will only be 1.2 on the phone.

Just curious miketoolz, how many apps (estimated) do you have installed? not counting the metro bloatware.

Before I used the app to move things to the sd I had about 15 apps.

Right now I have the bloatware removed and have downloaded 56 apps
