Help Android lagging

Hello, 1 month ago I bought a new Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro smartphone from the official european website, and restored the backup from my old Motorola G8 Power smartphone. Not long after that I installed Avast antivirus for Android and it found malware in one of my apps, which I uninstalled. My phone was lagging and some applications were crashing(for example Google Maps, Google Chrome and Oodles books). When I was switching the pages of apps, navigating the menu, it was lagging. So I did a backup without the malicious app and did a factory reset and then restored my backup. Now Telegram is crashing and sometimes, when I switch pages, navigating through apps it's lagging again. What could be the reason for this?

Also, please tell us which app was considered malware by that anti-virus app.
(It may or may not be, but we would like to know what app it is for reference.)

Keep in mind that anti-virus apps exist to make users feel secure.
They often do exactly the opposite at worst, and nothing at best.
These apps have nasty permissions, access to everything on the device, and are large resource hogs.

I would uninstall any and all such apps before anythibg else, and see if that alone remedies the lag.

As far as Telegram goes, try the FOSS version.
It is not censored by Google.

You may need to uninstall your current version.
When you log in to your account with the new app, all of your settings and channels will be there.

This is the app in question: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.omdevelopment.ref.biblebg.free
I currently have Avast Antivirus Free and Malwarebytes installed, should I uninstall them?
Thank you for the link for the uncensored Telegram, by the way

I installed the FOSS version of Telegram and now I can't log in. I get a message saying: "We've sent the code to the Telegram app for { my phone number} on your other device." I have no other device, so how can I fix this?

Most likely the app sends your personal data somewhere.
In fact, most religious type apps report your activities.

The solution is to block internet access for these apps, however, any app that also uses Google Services will also convey information with Google- who then sells it to whomever.

And yes, I would ditch the security apps.
Aside from giving a false sense of security, they do nothing better than that- and sometimes worse.
They consume battery and memory, report your information to whomever, and are unneeded anyway.
