    Carrier/mfg contracts (read: wars) will keep Android stores from proliferating in the U.S., I'll bet.

    I hope not but I wouldn't doubt it. We got some greedy carriers in the US. :p

    It'll still be awesome to see these stores pop up though. At least I have a place to hang out while the Mrs goes clothes shopping in the mall. :D

    Michigan
    Radio Shack sells multiple carrier phones, so do many small retailers. I bet with the right work, one could open an Android store in the US.

    Awesome! Next time I'm over east I'll have to check that out! We have tonnes of multi-carrier shops in Australia, it's no surprise they allowed an Android shop.
