    Hi,
I am new to the forum. I recently bought one of the Chinese Android devices available on Ebay similar to the Ipad. It came configured with an app store with most of the apps in Chinese. The problem is there is no access to the Android Market. Does anyone know of an app that I can use to access that? Also, is there any way to download apps that are shown on this website other than thru the Android Market? The device has a browser and connects to the internet thru my local wireless network. Thanks!

You could try putting the Google apps zip onto your sd card and flashing it to your tablet, although i doubt you will find the right apps that are compatible with it. you could try one for a g1 or something. what firmware do you have?

None of those seems to work. Guess I'll just have to wait until Android Market apps become available thru browser download. My device still works great as an ebook reader with the Kindle app and my Aldiko ebook reader. Thanks anyway. By the way I am running Android version 1.6.

I did a firmware update from slatedroid.com which included the market app for access to Android Market. However, I can only download one app without clearing out data in google apps. Once this is done, I have to relogin to the market and can then download another app. To do this go to settings--applications--manage applications--google apps then clear data. You will then be able to relogin and do a single download. App Brain does not really solve the problem. It initially can only be downloaded from Android Market. Once installed, any apps that you want still come from Android Market. App Brain is only a more user friendly interface.
