Trying to get my head round the HTC Desire
Sorry if theres already a thread on this subject, but i really need some help.

So over the past few days the apps ive tried to download dont even start to download, I then turn my phone off and back on again and they start to download, then start to install, but just as i think its done i get a notification saying ''Installation unsuccessful''.

I have 14MB of phone memory left so ive constantly got the low on space icon in the notification bar but i have ample space for the certain apps i wish to download.

Have i without realising fiddled with a certain setting or something?

    Can anybody help me?

    Please & thanks

    :(

Had the same issue once with a single app.
Install unsucessfull and remaining in the download list forever.
This is an issue that has not been solved yet by Google (checked their forums) as free removed apps should disappear from the download list, they seem to have forgotten those that fail to install.

    Try this:
Settings, Applications, Manage applications, All, Market, and then,
    Clear cache and Clear data

    2nd step:
There are some Market History Remover (or something like that) apps but I think they do exactly the same thing as described before.
Besides it seems you cannot install any new app.

Final step (that's what I did):
Backup what you need and Factory Restore.

    Good luck,
    :)
