    Hi

Can anybody tell me if Andoid (or Samsung) are going to introduce something like the iTunes movie and TV programmes rental/purchase service? I'm in the UK btw and I'm not aware of anything being available yet......desperate for an iTunes equivalent (but better obviously!)

Google is currently offering movie rentals through the web browser android market. The unofficial market update also includes movie rentals on mobile devices. I don't know if it works in the UK though. https://market.android.com/movies

    - Apps -available
    - Music - coming soon*
    - Videos - available*
    - Books - available*

*Obviously they usually target the US market first but I'm 120% sure they plan on going international and the UK would be at the top of that list.

    Amazon

    - Music - available*
    - Books - available*
    - Apps - available (US)
    - movies (? not sure coming soon I think)

    *not sure about international

    Netflix
    - Movies (just rolling out now)*

    *not sure about international

    Spotify

    - Music. If you're in the UK this should be avail to you, they started in Europe and moved to US second.

I'm sure there are a few other I am forgetting. Mostly the nice thing about Android is you have options. However some parts of some of the services are not fully matured/integrated yet. So you may find the experience using them a tad confusin initially but not hard at all in the long run.

    hth!
