I loaded it on my Pixel 2 last night. I'm pleased with it so far - no major issues, and it's got a few nice enhancements.

Would I recommend it? If you need to ask that question, NO. It's still a pre-beta release with a number of known issues. If you run into problems, you're pretty much on your own. And reverting back from P would require flashing a factory image, wiping your data in the process.

Don't do it unless you know what you're getting into - and, like me, have a drawer full of backup devices you can use if needed.

Oh, and yeah - turns out that you can't re-unlock the bootloader on P:
