Hi,

I recently bought a JVC KW-NT3HDT head deck for my car. On the box it boasts "PBAP for IPhone - Phone Book Access Profile, automatically transfers phone book, simlpy call by direct access to your cell phone's phone book." I was wondering if the Incredible has PBAP and if it does, how I would set it up? Also does anyone know how to separate the original contacts from the facebook contacts because when I did the bluetooth phone book transfer I had about 600 numbers of ppl i will never need to call, haha.

On another note, anyone else that may have this head deck have any tips or tricks for the incredible with the unit??

It stream pandora flawlessly through bluetooth and I'm even able to change the song through the deck which is a great feature, just no album art.

Thanks for the help!

Dear Mr. Williams,
Thank you for contacting JVC Customer Care, my name is Tamara, your email care specialist. We value you as a JVC customer and appreciate the opportunity to be of assistance.
I understand that you are experiencing some difficulties accessing your cell phone's phonebook via BlueTooth.
Since the Samsung SCH-i510 has not been tested with the KW-NT3HDT we can not be certain as to which BlueTooth features will work. I did notice that your phone seems to be Android based. When the radio attempts to access your phonebook, does a message appear on your phone asking for permission to allow the radio access? You might need to pull down the info bar to see it.
If you have any other questions please let us know at customerrelations@jvc.com.
Sincerely,
Tamara H.

I have my Verizon Samsung Droid Charge SCH-i510 paired with the radio over bluetooth. I am able to make/receive calls but the pbap phone book and call history does not show up. I have the May 2011 firmware as well. My SCH-U820 worked fine. Any assistance would be appreciated. This is part of the reason that I purchased the radio, so I hope there is a solution. Thanks in advance.
