There's good reason for the old saying "Jack of all trades, master of none".
On top of that, there's no way any Cobra would be master of all radar detectors. I'll leave the why to the reader to determine. There's plenty of reference material out there for those who care to dig deeper.
How would the location be determined with any accuracy? The V1 can only tell you front/side/rear for example. Plotting that on Google Maps would be fairly useless or not much more benefit than the existing arrows.

Incorrect. You might want to Google radar detector detectors. They don't have to search your phone. They don't even have to search your car. Besides, cops will find "probable cause" if they want to.Sure, but to find it, they'd have to search your phone, which in most cases is a tiny bit illegal.
I wouldn't recommend messing with the feds. Radar falls under FCC jurisdiction.I wish I could get a jamming system that was on the bombers I use to crew.
I can't see VR pushing this given their history. They're not a whistles and bells company. Pure performance is their main concern. I could see Escort pushing this.I love this concept, but it would be great if Valentine was the one pushing it forward. What would be really solid is if the signal would them show you where the radar signal was originating from in Google Maps.
