I am trying to open an excel 2007 document on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus II. The file is not password protected as I can open it on my computer just fine. I have looked at the properties and gone through the normal Excel encryption steps, but there is literally nothing there. At all. I have tried to open the file with "Document Viewer" and "Sheet To Go" but both apps say I need a password. I have also tried saving it from 2007 to 97-2003, renaming, but it keeps saying I need a password.

    Any ideas?

Could you export the file to csv. Most spreadsheet applications support this, but it is really only a .txt file with a different extension. See if you can open that with the app.
