Android sqlite database size limit

Hi, Is there any maximum limitation for sqlite database file size in Android device? .
Since i can use 7MB of sqlite database using the emulator ,but after copying apk into HTC Android device, it is raising a exception i.e "UNABLE TO COPY DATABASE".

(Note: but working well with sqlite database less than 2MB).

I appreciate your solution to resolve this
