Support Android still limited..

    my friend lost their Note phone

    i have their 3000 pictures as resized backup


    i opened a Flikr account to to upload a folder

    but software doesn't have such option ..


    it would be a drag and drop on a PC..


    i guess there are hundreds of alike scenarios?

    whats yours?

    Resized backup? In a backup file? You can't upload a backup file as images because those aren't images.

    You can just upload the files to Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive.

    Flickr only uploads individual image files, not folders of any sort. It would start at image 1 and keep uploading til image 3000...that's gonna take some time....

    I don't understand. Why does Flickr's shortcoming mean that android is limited?

    Maybe the Flickr app? Still the issue is between the dev and your friend who lost the Note. While it's regrettable that they lost their phone, it usually takes an incident like this to make people tactfully look at what they're doing to keep their information safe rather than just assuming everything works they way they'd like it to.

    Next time, tell your friend to regularly backup his files. You can't seriously blame an OS for that when there are tons of ways to backup files but chosen not to do it before an unexpected accident occur.
