Android stock browser.

I recently got a G'zone Commando 4g lte
It was sold to me under the premise it could do everything a laptop can do.
So two things.
The UA string is set to desktop, I have request desktop enabled and websites still give me mobile version. How do i get it to function properly.
Secondly how do i make the browser continue to function while minimized.

In addition to the above, I do not wish to root my phone or install a different browser, any apps, or load an apk.
