Android Tablets needs to be rooted ?

    As i see-it, a tablet is more like a notebook, not like a phone.
    So, if I buy a tablet i expect to have full access.

    I would i assume you would have to root it. Its most likely the same os version as the phone just with different customs.

    my job sucks....
    The Aloha State on a smallish island...
    it would be ridiculous to not already have root access to a tablet or netbook. That's something that is done by mobile phone companies. That would be like buying a new laptop and getting it home only to find out you don't have complete control over what changes you make on your computer.

    It's bad enough with cell phones I'd hate to see that happen with peoples tablets and even primary devices. It shouldn't even be legal as far as I'm concerned. If you bought it, you should be able to do whatever you want with it.

    In any case I'm sure you're fine. Root away.
