Help Android thinks flash drive is full

I have a rooted M8S tv box using Android 4.4.2. The Properties window for the drive in Android shows 32 GB used and 32GB size. According to Windows 7 the flash drive has 86 GB of free space. The drive is formatted NTFS.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ES Explorer, and soft restart and hard restart (unplug). I am able to copy files to the stick from my pc. Everything was fine through last night. What can be causing this?

Has this stick ever worked with the TV box? NTFS isn't natively supported by Android as far as I know (never tried).

Yes I have tried it several times before today and it worked fine...
