BBC News - Luxury toilet users warned of hardware flaw
Retailing for up to $5,686 (
Wouldn't that just be the ultimate party punk prank!!
What will we think of next:questionmark:
I like a lot of things manual. I prefer manual transmissions (so much that I converted a car that wasn't available with one). I use command line interfaces when most people will use a GUI. That all said...I would like one of those Japanese ultramodern luxury toilets.
Maybe not if I can get unexpectedly sprayed as a prank, though.
Some of these ultramodern public conveniences have automatic flush now. Sit on the thing for more than ten minutes, that's exactly what happens.
Here in the US we have plenty of automatic flush public toilets, but they're not smart toilets, they're regular toilets with an electronically controlled flush valve with a proximity sensor and probably a timer too. I wouldn't want to sit on one for ten minutes. They do tend to flush when you move around too much instead of waiting until you actually get up, though.
Why are people sitting on the toilet for more than ten minutes? Are you really THAT into your game of Plants vs Zombies?
