Hi,
I am new to the forum, so thank you in advance for any help you can give.
I have the below Android TV Box,
GFtime MX9 Android 5.1 Smart TV BOX KODI Server(OTA) Update On-line Quad core 1GB/8GB 4K Full HD HDMI Streaming Media Player
Model Number: MX9
Android version: 4.4.4
Baseband version: Unknown
Kernal version: 3.10.0 foxluo@skykirin2 #6 Tue Apr 12 10:06:36 CST 2016
Build number: rk322-eng 4.4.4 KTU84Q eng.foxluo.20160420.175112 test-keys
Vendor software Version: rk322x_R-Box_ANDROID4.4.4-SDK_V1.0.0
I would like to update android to the latest versions as instructed in the below video
I have found the update files below and have copied onto my SD card
http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/download-lollipop-5-1-1-stock-firmware-gftime-mx9-tv-box.html
But when I try to boot into recovery mode I just get the "No Command" screen and no Android system recovery menu. I can't do anything. I wait and the box just boots back into the normal operating system.
This does seem to be a common issue on phones, but I can't seem to find any help on this based on the Android TV boxes.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
