    Hi eveybody,

I am looking for a way to know when the user starts uploading or downloading data and ends the process by using API functions, events or listeners. Does anybody know of a way to do this?

    Thanks

Where is an app I use all the time to monitor download / upload traffic in real time. It's on the Google Play and other markets. It's named Network Monitor Mini. It puts anywhere on your screen a text display in real time of actual download upload progress as it happens I put my own display down in an unused area of my status bar. It will show in the format D XXX KB U XXX KB. You can locate it anywhere, change its size, add or remove components such as the D or U labels. You can use it most often if you feel you are having bandwidth issues such as slow page loads, downloads that seem to take forever and a day, your service provider is throttling your connection, or simply your entire connection has gone to hell...
