Does anyone one know how to download Angry Birds Go in China. My 8 year old is desperate to play it, but it

Can you access the Amazon app store via amazon.cn?

I've tried slide.me and it isn't on there.

There are a load of alternative app stores here you could try: http://androidforums.com/android-applications/457380-big-list-android-stores.html

You might also try contacting Rovio and explaining the situation, they may be gracious enough to send you the apk file.

I contacted Rovio but they didn't answer. In the meantime, after a system update, I was able to dl from play US for an afternoon, until google knew where I was. One happy 8 year old (and me too a bit).

Seens curious that Rivio would restrict their latest game from China. In the past the Angry Birds games have been very popular here and were available from Google. Angry Birds Go is not even available from the Baidu app store.

Actually there's no Rovio games at all on Play in China. Their games used to be available here.

Rovio are money hungry people and probably dont upload to china cause there worried of hackers stealing the app. but try the amazon store for the other rovio games. there is a not so legal way but im not saying. i dont even do it . i download only from GP

Angry Birds has already been stolen. Goes without saying really there's rampant piracy of the Rovio games and a heck of a lot of unofficial merchandise as well, including school textbooks. There's also rampant piracy of Disney intellectual property, but Disney hasn't given up. I'm sure they still make a packet out of China.

I just had another look at Play in China, and I'm seeing absolutely nothing from Rovio at all now, their stuff used to be available though. There's plenty of cheats, Angry Birds themed apps, wallpaper, etc. but non of those are official or licensed AFAICT.

Thing is most phones here don't have Google Play, they have a mishmash of Chinese app stores, that are usually full of pirated stuff. The one what I'd call reputable app store, Baidu Apps doesn't have Rovio games either.
