Animated Widgets (Cosmetic)?

Are there any widgets out there that exists mainly for cosmetic purposes and are not meant for necessarily any specific use other than to look cool?

I ask because I have a small open space available on my main home screen that could use something like that. ....something along the lines of those cool targeting widgets from Iron Man's HUD, a rotating DNA strand, a heart beat monitor read out....etc...etc...

I'm not looking for a full screen live wallpaper, but just something small that you can place on a home screen to give it a little coolness factor.
