My sprint hero makes a vary annoying beep whenever a call is ended. I noticed someone else had an issue with this back in Sept. But there was no solution posted. So Im asking again. It didnt always do this, and its driving me crazy ! Any help out there ?

Mine has done this since day 1 out of the box. I think you had your phone on silent before when you didn't notice it.

Mine has always done it. Actually, I found it annoying at first, but now I find myself seemingly waiting (and waiting, AND WAITING) for it to occur so I know that my call has ended. I've had some calls that don't promptly end when I hit the END CALL button - and THAT is annoying.

its just a call ended tone. if you dont like it download an audio manager widget and turn the system sound level all the way down. it might work.

I'm the same way n0gik, I wait to make sure the beep happens before I put the phone in my pocket. I can't tell you how many times i've put it away and the call was still active. I also find myself hanging up by pressing the end button and then accidently redialing too...super annoying.

Mine does it to, but I actually prefer it. That way you know the call is over and don't find yourself talking bad about someone while they can still hear you.:D

DanielWalker, if you are accidently redialing download "Not Call Log" Once you hit End Call it goes to the Home screen.

Was a fix ever found for this? My phone suddenly started doing this all of a sudden this week without any reason. All my volume settings are down except media volume, and it still does it?

Hard to believe there isn't a way to make this beep go away, when I didn't have it at all for the first few weeks I owned the phone.........

Mine has done it since the first call was made. I imagine those that say it just started must have had everything on silent when they didn't notice the beep.

On a different phone once I was talking to someone. When we were done, I put my phone in my pocket and cranked up the stereo in the car. I was asked later if my singing along to Hank Williams' "Mind your own Business" was a message to her...

I'm glad to know when a phone connection is gone.

This is the most minute thing to possibly be annoyed by...

    To each their own.

To be honest, I never noticed it until I read this thread.

I noticed it since I had the Moment (before this). I honestly tune it out and ignore it. When I end a call, I pull the phone from my face and actually watch it hang up, then make sure I turn the screen off before pocketing it.

    Hahahha, soooooo true.

With many of the issues others have, I didn't notice them until someone brought attention to it, lol...
