    Hey everyone,

Recently I've been experiencing a very annoying glitch in the SMS Stock app for the Lg Motion. I open up an SMS thread and within that thread I open up an mms that was sent to me (picture, recording, etc..). What happens is that once I exit out of the thread again the timestamp on my messages for that thread reflects the time that I last opened the MMS. So I could have opened an old thread dated a few days ago but if I open/view an MMS that was sent to me in that thread, then my message log show the timestamp as if that person just messaged. When I open the actual thread its dated correctly. I hope I have explained the glitch properly but it is annoying. I have cleared my cache, rebooted, etc but the glitch remains. The problem started up randomly not long ago. Any thoughts?

Was there a recent update/upgrade of the software for your device?

I'm also wondering if you've tweaked a setting in your sms app that could have conflicted the time settings.

I don't think so, at least not manually. Can't say if there's been an OTA update, but I've had the phone since about a week after it launched and don't think there's been a recent one. I use the stock app and haven't done anything different to it although after the glitch I've been exploring any settings that can possibly fix it...but I just don't know.

Whoa. I didn't know that might be a glitch. I thought it was merely the nature of the proverbial beast on this particular phone. Mine does the same, too. If it's of any informational worth, I have not updated the phone to the OTA update "D" yet. I wonder if it's a bug in the "C" version?

TJay, I would've thought the same thing too but it wasn't always like this.. it use to be normal up until last week when I first noticed the problem. I've been on update D for awhile now so at least we know one thing..it's on both firmwares. :(

Hmmm... well that truly sucks. I wonder what it could be? I quickly reviewed if I had disabled some Metro/bloatware apps that might have something to do with it, but nothing seemed relevant (e.g., MyMetro, Sportacular, et. al.) Regardless, thanks for letting me/us know.
