Review comes courtesy of Tracy and Matt.

    A couple of points:

Choice cuts, looking at other threads people have issues with:

"Having had the Desire for just a few days and spending most of the time with it testing things out for this review I've been getting through the battery at a rate of knots. BUT, I've had the screen on a LOT I've had WiFi on and I live somewhere with a poor signal that makes the device continually hunt for service. All of these things conspire to eat through the battery."

Their unit meant to be the latest ROM, unlocked, not T-Mobile and has NO voice-to-text.

"They said that the Nexus One took the smartphone to a new level and the term 'superphone' has been used a few times. If that's the case then I don't know what superlative I would use for the HTC Desire. Uber-phone perhaps?"

Oh, and the review is, wait for it, 7110 words!!! Grab a coffee and digest it when you please...

    Enjoy! :D

    Yupe, confirmed, no voice-to-text :(

Time to wait for custom ROM that have that included ...

The arguement/guesswork currently goes that it's simple a fact that the voice-to-text is optimised for American accents, and they haven't done other countries and their accents/languages yet.

Simple as that. So the guessing goes. I'd guess that voice-to-text won't be too far away. (I hope!)

    Lol!

Ok. Ignore the guesses! Google are just keeping some choice cuts for themselves, their devices, and their homeland!

    I stand corrected! :D
