Ok so I know there have been a couple threads on how to get RSD to work right on Windows 7 for those of us who it wouldn't work for. I've tried all of them, and none of them worked for me until I stumbled across this. It worked like a champ and was super simple. So I'm sharing it with you guys here in case any of you have the same problem I've had. I take absolutely no credit for this, I'm just sharing the information I've found. This post was originally written by adrynalyne for (I believe) the OG Droid So basically, right click on the RSD shortcut on your desktop, click the compatibility tab and check off "run this program as an administrator", apply it and hit ok Rename your sbf file to 21.sbf (IDK why 21, but I did it and it worked for me) and place it on your D drive click the start button on window (windows icon on bottom left of desktop) and in the "search programs and files" part type "cmd" (without the quotes obviously. now, in your command prompt type "cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Motorola\RSD Lite" (unless you've moved RSD to another location) now type "SDL.exe -f D:\21.sbf -t 2" (again, without the quotes) At this point my computer asked me something (I believe it was if I wanted to let the computer run the program) just click yes now let the file flash. Again, this was EXTREMELY simple. and again, credit for this goes to adrynalyne, I just found out that it also works for us on the Droid X (and couldn't be happier that now I can finally use RSD on my laptop!) Good luck everyone and happy modding!
