Does anyone know if having a locked bootloader means we don't have 'S-off' ?

I believe that's only on htc.. It's a type of security check for the bootloader.

Ok. The reason i ask had to do with the avast anti-theft app, you can write it to the phone system using a flashable update instead of an apk so it remains stealth. I highly recommend it.
