Help answering the phone

Anybody getting this problem?..when fone is on vibrate it doesnt answer sometime.. sometime it answers on mute.. or drop calls..playing games and it doesnt pick up like it get stuck on the answer key..anybody else have problem with this?

i'm not sure what getting stuck on the answer key means...but i have an issue where when i receive a call, i can't swipe down on the unlock screen to answer: the phone simply freezes. hitting the power button ignores the call.

i've called verizon about it. not much help, but it's usually pretty easy to finagle your way into a new phone if you've already tried a factory reset without success.
