Anticipated Upgrade OS

Will the anticipated upgaded OS 2.2 or 2.3 work on my Intercept? Which one?

They've announced 2.2 is coming eventually. Never heard of 2.3

I'm pretty sure Sprint announced that their own version of the Intercept would get 2.2 but I've never heard anything from Virgin Mobile. Yeah its easy to say "well Virgin is owned by Sprint so we must be getting it too" but I really don't trust Virgin Mobile that much. Unless someones got a direct quote from Virgin Mobile (not Sprint) saying they are updating to 2.2 then I just don't believe it.
