Any difficulties pairing after root?

I wouldn't think that rooting would have anything at all to do with your ability to (bluetooth?) pair (and would be very, very surprised if it did or does).

The root components / binaries don't in and of themselves inject or interject with other components--they are invoked / referenced on behalf of the calling processes / apps which must get permission (via the Superuser / SuperSU app) before they can actually do anything.

Not sure what else could be the issue, but pretty sure it would not be the fact that your device is rooted.
