Any good RTS games?

So while I've came across platformers, gravity based games, 3d shooters etc etc. I've never came across a good (or any at all) RTS game. I'm talking about a game like AOE, where you can place buildings as well.

I mean don't we have an advantage over other consoles because we can quickly tap an object and do something with it?

I haven't seen any either. If a developer could come out with a good one, I would eat it up. RTS games have always been a favorite of mine. If someone would figure out how to port Red Alert 1 to the Android, I would probably pay at least $10 for it.

Here's a good one that was originally on Palm and PPC, and was ported to the iPhone a year or so ago. Most Android devices should be more than capable of running it considering it was developed for Palm OS devices running with 200mhz processors on 320x480 resoultion screens. Although the graphics may be slightly outdated, the game is amazing, especially with the amount of features it has to offer.

They are thinking about porting it over, but want to see where the Android Market is going, and see if there is enough interest and "support."

Game was originally $30 but the iPhone port is only 1$, so I couldn't imagine it being much more than that, if not equal. Head over their forums to show more interest!

Looks like the sort of thing i'm after (although shame it doesn't look a little more pretty)

It's a shame someone doesn't port something liek Warzone 2100 as that is open source

I see iPhones even have a fairly decent C&C game. android really has nothing

I know the iPhone/iPad have Red Alert 3 (or a "version" of it), but yes, a true RTS (Starcraft, C&C, AOE, etc.) is definately needed. Warfare Inc. It truely is an awesome game, and I am positive it could fulfill your RTS needs, but as others have said, one can only hope.

I have seen Art of War and Defend homeland, but haven't tried them because of the reviews. I may have to give them a shot though I suppose. I've never heard of All Mighty though.
