I lost my forum post here from politics. Never anything illegal. Anywhere, Anytime, Ever.

I'm just an average guy. I live an average life...

I almost feel like I could own a gun but I'm waiting for the Pot thing to work out.

    Semi-legal now.

I think I need a little gun, maybe a .22 pistol with point and shoot ergonomics?

I live in a crowded urban environment afterall.

    I'm form Boston!

Looks legal in Boston. But there's no where in Boston you could buy one.
No gun shops in Boston. You can get a shotgun and rifle license in Boston with a clean record, but you can't BUY one. Grinds my gears...

My nephew just told me it's the same way in Central Florida. Easy to get. Harder to buy.
    I probably misunderstood him...

I want a "Snake Charmer". Am I showing my age?

    Calico .22 top loading magazine.
A wonder of technology but did it work?
Right now I'm thinking of the pistol that looked alot like a carbine.
Think the guns from "The Running Man".

Is the M249 SAW lighter than an M60 from the 1970s?
No chance of owning the new one where I live but when I trained with the old one I could get off the first rounds.
That was 40 years ago though.

I don't even know what I'd use it for and I want one. I suppose hiking. $47 is pretty cheap.

    Just did - thanks!

I don't have any magnification on my AR so I'd been thinking it would be nice to have a spotting scope to see if/where I'm hitting the target downrange. This should be adequate overkill. :D

Dang, dude, you bought the last one. Didn’t know you’d steal it out from under me! ;)
Seriously, thanks for being the guinea pig, let us know how it is when you get it.

Actualy, @codesplice and I each got one. :D I may drive up to Mt. Greylock to try it out this weekend if it is in in time. I already got shipping info, so they move fast.

It didn't look like it could mount on rails but it would definitely be a ridiculously cool spotting scope as @codesplice suggested.

You could probably count all the unique tears in the 10 ring with a scope like this!

With the zoom on that scope you can look right past that bill! Besides, it has night vision, so who needs lights? ;)

This is my great-grandmothers shotgun minus firing pin.
    This is my phone.
    One for rememberance
One for spotting. That's a great price for a e-scope

I'll post a review next month...

I'd like one in .223. That collapsible stock, but .308 ammo is so chunky... I guess my Boston origin means I need something easier to hide.

It's easier to buy and keep marijuana than guns in Boston.

    So about that scope...

Bonus shot of the eclipse last night - could have been better with a tripod but the moon was directly overhead so that would have been tough to pull of. As is, I'm pretty pleased for a handheld shot with my phone while shivering.
