I was looking at my Nexus S and saw this little connector. It looks like it might be for a Wi-Fi antenna attachment of some sort. Any thoughts?

  2. Yeah, looks like a little antennae connector. I couldn't find anything in the Samsung owner manual. I took a picture of it with Google Goggles (lol) and it didn't give me any valid info. Now, I'm really curious too.

They already house the NFC chip in the back cover. I wonder if they have any plans to come out with other covers with extra features.
  4. Maybe that's what it is. The NFC.

No, the NFC connects via those two connector pins towards the middle, next to the SIM slot. The actual NFC chip is attached to the back cover.
