Not trying to sell these here, but is there any market for old Tracfones? Don't think they'd work on any other carrier. I have an LG 305 and an LG 34 Optimus Fuel smartphone. Nothin wrong with either, just upgraded. Should I put these on ebay?

Have you considered apps that sell locally like OfferUP?

    Swappa is great, though.

Little embarrassed, but I've never heard of either of these. But I have now, so I'm on my way there. Thanx much!

Donate them to a battered womens shelter. That's what I do. They can be used for emergency calls.

I have purchased 3 phones on Swappa. Really good service. I wish I thought of that idea!

    Other options..
    * turn it into a digital picture frame.
    * Use it for security camera

btw the fuel can be easily rooted with towelroot...you just have to input codes, which are available by googling

We try to donate our old, useless phones to the local shelter for abused women and children as well*.

*And yes, the occasional abused man, too. Abuse is not gender exclusive ;)

I had not thought of the Abuse shelters, a very good idea.
but, a smartphone is likely too expensive for folks in that condition to afford the monthly charge/

And, my old CDMA only VZW phone won't even work unless it is registered.....
made before the FCC mandated 911 calling be available from turn on.
