Just curious. I saw some comments on XDA where people had some. I'm trying to figure out if this is an IPS display thing or if it was only crApple. I would prefer to avoid it if it's a common problem on these as well. Thanks in advance!

PS- Yes, I know it's common on lots of screen types, but not to the point where its a distraction. I would like the nicest blacks I can get.

In a very dark room, with a black background, there is a small amount of backlight bleed. I noticed it when I first switched the device on, but haven't noticed it since.
I've shown the device to a few people today, and no-one has commented on it.
I can try and photograph it if you like, though my experience is that it usually looks worse on photographs than in the flesh.

No picture needed. I assume with an actual wide screen display it won't be as noticeable when watching things on it even if there is a little.

I've noticed some light bleed on my Transformer, it appears to be a common issue. It's not so noticeable in normal daylight.

I've only used it during the day time and I haven't noticed it yet. I forget to look for it though most of the time so I would say if it happens, it is not a distraction at all.

I have a dead pixel or dust on the display with minor light bleed on the side so i have it exchanged with a new one. The new one has even more light bleed in the bottom, I can actually twist the the tablet (its not that sturdy) and more light bleeds out. I really like the display of this tablet but with the light bleed and the fact that you can twist the tablet turned me off and have it replaced with Acer...i really miss the Asus display, but....

only a very small patch when the screen is black with the brightness over 70% in a dark room, otherwise not noticeable.
