Inquiring minds want to know.
The only info I personally have seen is that it is slated for release this month with the Incredible looking at an update 2nd half of the year...
There is an article on it and if I find it I will post the link here.
EDIT: Here is the link I saw!
BTW, "second half of 2010" starts in less than a month.
Don't hold your breath. If we get this before December I would be shocked. HTC is very slow with updates (just look at Eris and 2.1).
True, but we all know that really means at LEAST Q4!!
Well, we can always hope that by the time HTC rolls out Froyo officially, we've already acquired root and can do it ourselves if we want. I used to be gung-ho about Sense UI, but the more I play with my fiancee's MotoDroid the less I seem to care about Sense. I only *need* about 2 home screens, but I use 5 just to dump a ton of widgets on there.
yeah I dont' really care when we get updated (i'd guess by the end of September) I want Root , I want to get rid of Sense and all the bloatware that comes with the phone. I like my android like my women pure

Light, sweet... and with a spoon in them."
WINNER! Most interesting post of the day!
BTW: I hate that it's technically Joint Base Andrews, now. I hate it every morning when the guards at the Main Gate say "Welcome to Joint Base Andrews". It's still ours, dammit! The Navy is just renting the backside!
Sounds better then Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, WA
I have a strong feeling the DInc will be updated this month. Slingbox is releasing their Slingbox Mobile app for Android this month and i'm pretty sure it requires 2.2 They wouldn't release the app unless some devices could actually use it. I am so psyched for this app.
I doubt the SlingBox app will require Froyo. They have been doing a private beta since before Froyo was announced and I can't see them bundling a beta of an app with a beta of an OS.
