I don't understand why this is unusual for some people, front facing cameras (and video calling) have been a standard feature of 3G phones here for the last four years. Last time i checked, Australia wasn't at the forefront of telephony (our broadband network averages 2.8Mbps).
If we are freakishly ahead of the curve, the stupid iphone "facetime" ads would make more sense. I have no idea why they'd advertise wifi video chat as revolutionary in a country with half a decade of network video calling.
I thought the UK was at least on par with Australia...
