Help Any way of hiding / changing LOST.DIR folder?

Hello

I don't know about anyone else but I'm sick of the sight of the 'LOST.DIR' folder in the SD card structured directories, both internal and external on the Galaxy S2.

Is there any way to permanently delete it, hide it or permanently rename it ??

Are there any programs apps to do any of the above ?

I've deleted it many times and it just keeps coming back ! :(

Also are there any apps the decrease the size of the folder icons in the sd structure directory ?

Cheers :D:D:D

You can delete it quite easily, but as its a folder used by Android, it will just keep coming back right at 'ya.
It's a spin off from unix. This had a lost+ found folder in each file system which is the same thing, to hold lost i-nodes. As Android is a Linux system, and Linux is UNIX's young sprog, it's just one of the inherited quirks I'm afraid.

Can anyone tell me if ALL Samsung mobile phones or tablets have this LOST.DIR folder visible in their structure / directory ??

Cheers :o

Again another app - 'hide file expert' will do the job.

Must choose the folders to hide after phone boot up.

:D

Indeed, the LOST.DIR keeps coming back as it is used by Android/Linux.
But the files in this dirertory can be viewed/deleted easely without any problem.
I'm using "File manager HD" downloaded free from the app-store to do the job. Very good app by the way.
