Any way to get the captive buttons to stay on?

They go off a little too soon for me, and since im new to android they are important for me to be able to track down.

Just picked up my vision this afternoon to replace my ip4, so far so good altho I already miss the better dpi, browsing is a much fuzzier experence.

yeah thats the first annoting thing i noticed, specially at night when you cant see the white drawing of the button
