    Here's today's latest release:
    com.logmein.ignition.android.apk

Download it and make sure you have checked to allow apps to install from outside of the market in your settings.

+1 on PhoneMyPC. In my using both solutions, I find PhoneMyPC a more flexible solution, and less taps to accomplish what you want to do.

the android device controls the home pc

im in the beta, i actually just now tested it out on the evo for the first time. SO much better than on the Hero. Noticed a couple things:

Opened up a picture on my desktop and it looked very grainy
My swype 'delete back' key didn't work
Lost about a percentage of battery for every minute connected (using wifi)

No biggy though, it's cool as hell to be able to even do this for free (at least until the beta is over) ;)

Once it is finalized it is going to be a one time charge of 30.00... Specualtion but that is how much the iPhone and iPad app goes for.

No the free version is for PC's or Mac's only... that will not work for iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.... we have to use LogMeIn Ignition

It was either a new thread or this one... here goes!

As many know, Logmein has a FREE app for IOS now. I use it occasionally, it's pretty good.

For Android, there is NO such free app!
I sent a pleading email to Logmein anyway!

Has anyone found a workaround for really comfy access to Logmein to remotely control your PC from an Android device? I sampled using a browser from my Xperia, horrible, and it fails as I cannot summon a keyboard when wanting to enter the remote machine's Windows password. I suspect that even if I removed that password, the experience would be pretty horrible on a mobile browser. The iPhone equivalent is fairly workable by comparison.
