Help Any way to streamline web pages on 3G?

I had a quick browse of game.co.UK earlier and with just a few pages, I'd used near on 4.5Mb. Is there any way to streamline web page downloads other than to not download images? Either that or are there any other browsers available that might not download in as high a resolution as the default browser or Dolphin?

I'm fairly sure that my iPhone didn't use as much bandwidth on the same site.

Cheers.

Try Opera Mini. The browser connects to Opera's servers which compress the pages you want then send them on to your phone. Makes Opera pretty quick, but not sure just how much data you will "save". Worth a try though.
